Information TechStop collects
TechStop may collect order and contact information such as name, email address, delivery address, order details and support messages.
TechStop may also process device, browser, security and cookie information needed to run the website, protect sessions, manage carts, prevent abuse and troubleshoot issues.
Payments and orders
Stripe handles payment processing. TechStop does not state or intend that it stores full card numbers.
Order information is used to process payment, confirm stock, arrange fulfilment, manage refunds, provide customer support and meet legal record-keeping needs.
Service providers
TechStop uses Supabase for database and authentication-related infrastructure, Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, Vercel for hosting, and Cloudflare/R2 for storage and delivery of some media or infrastructure services.
Couriers or delivery providers may receive the delivery information needed to deliver an order. These providers may process information in New Zealand or overseas depending on their systems.
Cookies and analytics
TechStop may use cookies or similar storage for essential website functions such as cart, checkout, authentication and security.
No dedicated analytics provider was identified in the current site code when this policy was prepared. If analytics are added later, this policy should be updated.
Storage, security and retention
TechStop uses reasonable safeguards for personal information, but no online system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
Personal information is kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes it may lawfully be used, including orders, support, accounting, security and legal obligations.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask to access or correct personal information TechStop holds about you. TechStop will respond in line with the Privacy Act 2020.
TechStop has a person responsible for privacy matters. Privacy complaints can be raised through the Contact page. Serious privacy breaches will be handled in line with applicable New Zealand privacy obligations.
Disclosure
TechStop may disclose information where needed to provide services, process orders, comply with law, protect security, respond to disputes, work with service providers, or complete business administration.
TechStop does not sell customer personal information as a standalone product.
