TechStop hardware warranty
Current TechStop product forms refer to a 12-month TechStop hardware warranty. Where a product page states a different written warranty, the product page should be treated as the specific warranty information for that product.
Unless the product page states otherwise, the written TechStop hardware warranty begins from delivery.
What may be assessed
Hardware faults may be assessed by TechStop or a suitable repair provider. TechStop may need to erase, reset or repair a returned device during assessment or repair.
Before returning a device, back up your data, remove activation locks, sign out of accounts where instructed, and remove personal accessories not requested by TechStop.
Reasonable exclusions
Warranty support may not cover customer-caused damage, misuse, unauthorised modification or repair, liquid damage, impact damage, software issues, third-party services, data loss or normal wear that is not a covered fault.
Refurbished batteries naturally have prior use. Battery performance varies by model, age, settings and use unless a specific product page or future policy states a minimum standard.
Consumer rights remain
The TechStop warranty does not replace Consumer Guarantees Act rights. CGA rights may continue beyond a written warranty depending on reasonable durability, product type, price, age, disclosed condition and circumstances.
Repair, replacement and refund outcomes depend on the fault, whether it can be put right within a reasonable time, and applicable legal rights.
